The quiet person
Is always the one to be bullied
Truly a fact all around the world
Why are they always picked on?
Seems like easy prey for someone
They have nothing to say
So they can’t fight back
Trapped in a cage while others look on
Simply admiring the animal.

Spot on. And we mentally-challenged are not the sociopaths the media makes of us. We’re nearly all nonviolent. Good on ya.

I got bullied by certain staff members during my last couple of stays in the psych Hospital.
It got to the point where I ended up in the ER.
It was awful.

When feeling suicidal, I was taken away in cuffs by a deputy and stuck in the “Quiet Zone” of the ER. That was misery. I didn’t belong there.

The quiet one, the thinker, the introvert often misunderstood but benevolent. Can’t put a square peg into a round hole so go after it. Somehow we survive it until we no longer do. But the introvert is here for some reason too. Thinkers often have had unpleasant endings, perhaps they thought too much. Could it be possible? To experience then reflect, what else do we really have?

I didn’t notice this thread was a week old, but I agree with all the above. There’s nothing wrong with the solitary misfit. Usually it’s the misfits (like Bill Gates) whose genius lights the way for the bullies to follow.
