I love small talk. Some people don’t, but I love chatting about nothing. It’s a good distraction, and I like meeting new people

I think I might have made some of these mistakes with saynow this morning. These are good tips, but smalltalk is hard. 
I don’t seek out small talk, I don’t particularly enjoy it for long periods of time, but I am capable of it when necessary.
I hate small talk. I’m at a point where it just makes me feel different and alien to everyone else participating. It just seems really pointless and unnatural to me.
Yes. Can we add eye contact to that list?
Constant eye contact yes. I like some eye contact, but I have no issue you with long breaks. It just seems like a weird social norm that isn’t required for any reason.
And it’s a nice way to establish trust and bond over common ground until it’s safer to talk about other things
