This is exceptional. Proud of you! I’d have you over for tea if you lived closer.

@shutterbug You should be proud in starting this thread as it is close to getting 10,000 views. We’ll see if this thread hits 10K views by New Year’s.

We’ll try some Earl Grey Hot Tea. Or Green Tea (绿茶) if there is such a chance. :slightly_smiling_face:

2 days until New Year’s. 5km in 60 minutes. My legs are tired from yesterday which is why I cut my treadmill exercise in half.

13.1 km today. Did the long walk around town on the path system. I’ve lost some conditioning over the past month and am a bit ouchie, but it feels good to have pushed it. Going to keep trying over the next week despite the cold.

Shiet. I just registered for the city 10km marathon run that is being paid for by my employer. So, now I need to take my conditioning & training more seriously. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::crazy_face::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

1st post in this thread for the new year. I didn’t intend on posting here for a long while but now I have to because of the 10km city marathon I registered for. 10km in under 100 minutes.

10km in under 90 minutes. Eat vegetables as part of your daily diet people because doing so does contribute to a lower RHR (Resting Heart Rate). As you can see, I am just a tad touching red lining my heart and it all had to do with adding vegetables in my meals.

Broke my 1-hour record of 7.18km burning 871 calories and an average speed of 7.2km/h on 2021-04-30. This is my first attempt at 7.4km/h. I didn’t finish up to 10km because my heart rate in the red zone would have exceeded the yellow zone. Overall, I am still satisfied with the results of the run.

Due to me eating vegetables, I can attest that my RHR ( Resting Heart Rate) is lower. Of all my 10km 2-hour walks, I have never seen my average heart rate at 100bpm. I was very surprised to see this outcome. Usually in the past half dozen sessions my heart rate would be 105bpm or 108bpm but not 100bpm. Very shocked about this result.

You inspired me to take a little run

I don’t actually run so slow I just dislike running outside. So i do it in a small area, going back and forth.

I find it more demanding, as in a 2 km run there’s a few hundreds turns

Broke my 1-hour record again but this time doing HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). I wanted to do the full 10km but I didn’t have enough fuel in the gas tank to go all the way. :upside_down_face:

I am but not to the weight I want to post yet. Eating vegetables is making the weight loss progress more slower.
