What job do you/did you do ? I was asked that by a recent Facebook friend . I was upfront about the SMI and Asperger’s and not working . Then I felt oh ■■■■ I shouldn’t have done that , and ended up blocking him because I was nervous what his reaction would be . It’s more miss than hit when it comes to people understanding not having worked .

Why block him though? Maybe you would have been pleasantly surprised by his reaction.

Paranoia and the more than evens likelihood it would be a negative reaction
Tell him your job is sweeping the Nation!
Then when he asks what you do, tell him you’re a Janitor! 
A joke like that could be a good ice breaker after meeting someone new!
