Tax Time, Oh No's!

That time of year again, got so much stuff to do before I can take it to the accountant :weary:

With zero income, I did my taxes online through the Canada Revenue Agency and got a refund of $75.

I used Credit Karma so I could file for free. We got a decent chunk back.

I got all the taxes I paid from when I was working back. So I got a very healthy refund

I get some money back, but my country has a system where if you owe money to the government, they will take that money from your tax refund.
And the way things look right now, it will be 10-20 years before I can actually get a refund into my bank account, haha

dude I haven’t filed taxes for 10 years now I’m guessing. Being on disability I’m not sure why I would file taxes?

I didn’t get anything back since I wasn’t charged any taxes on my uni income since it’s a work study.

I’ve never paid in my life, I always get a refund. I filed in February and got my refund already.

Ugh! Thanks for reminding me :frowning: Need to get it done before my SO does his, cause it takes him about a week solid as he owns his own business.

I was going to get back $3000 but due to my contract working last year I only get back $600. So I didn’t really make much money. I owe the state $425.

My SSDI benefits have never been taxed. The IRS sends me a short, simple form every year at tax time that I am supposed to fill out to see if my benefits are taxable. They never are.

I used them too.
