Talking to nature

The cactus on our balcony said " i don’t flower for you, prick" and a longneck turtle at a lake said “i am an ahole” nature is so honest. Just tried to make contact in the past days.

I used to work a 4pm-1am shift, get home, stay up until 7 am then go to bed. The worst part about this is around 5:30-6:00 am the birds start chirping and won’t shut the #%@$ up. One morning I got really mad at them and started chucking rocks and yelling at them. That’s the last time I remember talking to nature.

I used to talk to the plants at home while I watered them and tell them they were strong … I think they liked that…

Science says hugging trees have benefits. I once did that, and got tree sap on my clothes.

I believe it is very beneficial to be in touch with nature. I think I would go crazy if I didn’t get some fresh air once in a while and get away from the propaganda from the tv, radio and internet. In Norway we have a government tv-station network that is paid for from tax. Con: It costs some money. Pro: No commercials. I think it’s worth it.
