I think my pdoc is going to proscribe me 5mg incase I need it, last year when I went to Sri Lanka I was psychotic and manic on my return so I think the 5mg Haldol is just a preventative. Will I have any problems bringing PRN Haldol in the Country when I land in Sri Lanka. Would it be best to take a doctors note? I’m worried they’ll turn me away if they see the proscription thinking I was a danger.
IDK the rules, is it illegal to bring prescription drugs into a country? A doctors note sounds like a good idea. I think it would be a bad idea to try to sneak in medication but as long as you declare it at customs it might be OK. Can you simply call up someone in charge in the country you’re going to and ask them if it’s OK to bring prescription drugs into the country? And ask them if it will be a problem with that specific medication? IDK who you would call but there must be someone who could answer those questions. It’s just an anonymous phone call.

Put it in your holdal luggage that goes under the plane. Put Doctor’s note with it. You’ll be fine. I had to do something similar when I was in Spain recently.
