… And yes, I am aware Sambo is a racist name. So was my mother when she named him, but according to her, she asked all her neighbours and they said it wasn’t. Lol.
He’s named after a children’s book called “Little black Sambo”.
As a kitten he had a third nostril on the top of his nose, but he seems to have outgrown it somehow

Used to be a chain of family restaurants around here for years and years called Sambo’s. Complete with murals of a little black kid being chased by a tiger on the walls. They finally changed their name after public pressure around 1978 or 1979. They were pretty popular restaurants, kind of like Denny’s.
