Does anyone else here have persistent visual snow/vision distortions? Is this something that happens to a lot of people with Sz/Sza? I am just wondering because I know visual snow is a neurological issue, so I am wondering if it’s linked

It can happen from staring at a computer screen too long.

This can also be a result of previous drug use and HPPD (hallucinogen persisting perception disorder)

No I do not have visual shows. I just have my thoughts and that’s it.

Are any problems in your eyes. Do check by eye specialist.

Visual snow happens to a lot of people, with or without any psychiatric problems. I’ve always had visual snow in certain light conditions. I also get those floaters, and this is all different from my ongoing visual disturbances from drug use, which came later, and with that if there’s like a busy patterned wall the patterns move around a little as if I was on lsd.

I don’t know what that is. But blurred vision is one of the things I recognize before getting psychotic.
When the tv used to sign off at night and there was no signal we called that snow. But cable stays on all night. Haven’t seen that in a while. It’s been a hot minute.
They used to always play the national anthem before they signed off for the night.
