Sweet foodie thread

Take a picture of sweets that you like.

That’s a good idea jake! Here’s a sponge with passionfruit icing I baked for my mum recently. The sponge was feather light so I was proud of myself.

Did you use egg whites?

I fill up a glass with mint choco chip ice cream then pour coca cola over it and eat it with a spoon.

You make me want to go out and go get a Coca Cola float… I think I just might…

Oops… sorry but I mean it in a good way though. I admire those ladies. They always become my role models in kitchen.

My mom can’t cook for crap. It’s fine though, I don’t expect her to. I did more cooking than she did growing up. Fortunately her BF is a very good cook.

My mom has lots of skills in other areas. She makes one or two things okay, hamburger helper and these cool chocolate coconut bars at Christmas.

By the way I said bake , not cook… that would be sexist.

I mean in professional kitchen

@Abise quit while your ahead. I’ll accept it’s a misguided comment but what you said was extremely sexist. I’ll let that slide in this instance as you apologised but none of that sentiment again please.

Copy that :no_mouth:1515

I almost got that cola float, but I stopped my self. Don’t really need it

I really don’t eat healthy like I should. Used to be as long as I kept my portions of unhealthy food small, I stayed skinny, but not anymore. Age really slows down the metabolism.

Here’s a desert I had at one of my favourite Sydney restaurants

Here’s the one I made a few years ago. Our neighbor kids were over and we built a huge blanket fort covering the entire living room. :joy:
