Sallows come in the Spring to Lisbon and stay until the end of the Summer. Then they return to Africa, through the Sahara desert to Namibia.
The swallow season is almost over here, I will miss waking up to their singing.

Spring has now come to Cape Town South Africa, so the swallows will be coming to us soon

Swallows and martins are my favorite kinds of bird. Watching them catch mosquitoes on the wing is like watching a ballet.
