Survived my Spanish class

I’m just back from my Spanish class. It’s my first face-to-face class in years. We’re 11 people. The class takes 3.5 hours and has one 10 min break. It was high pace and I’m happy I survived the class. Afterwards I went for a 1 hour walk to destress. Next rendez-vous is next Thursday. Wish me luck!

Lol. I found that funny (for a Spanish class).

Well done on being able to get through 3 hours of a class. That’s amazing.

Best of luck with the rest of it.

Good luck in your Spanish class @Jonathan2! Coincidentally my voices have started speaking Spanish to me lately but not fluently because I am not fluent in Spanish. Maybe a word here or there like Comida and pane. They comment on my eating in Spanish lately. lol

Arabic sounds like a very difficult language. Especially the writing part. I’m sticking to learning Spanish.

I really like Russian a lot. Haven’t studied it in a while but I enjoy it.

If you’re interested in knowing about the languages of the world look up a guy named John McWhorter.

What language learning software can you recommend? I use several and so now I’m confused  and my brain is about to explode :exploding_head:

Btw. Pimsleur is great if you can afford it.

I use software from a company called gymglish. They offer several languages but they are expensive. I think they offer free trials. So, if you’re interested you could try one. However, I think nothing beats genuine language classes in person where you speak and interact a lot.
