Have I missed something? Custom built PCs are incredibly cheap. Because all the tech is out dated after 6 months you can get a incredibly high end computer for peanuts. Just the techs outdated. Most of us don’t use puters to full use anyway. As most programs that use the tech are just games anyway. Depends if you want to go PC or laptop etc but is one way around getting a cheap computer.

You could look at Tiger Direct. They have pretty good refurbished ones as well as new. I’ve only owned refurbished laptops and they’ve lasted for me.

It has been a year since you asked me to join this new sz forum. I have enjoyed reading your postings. Hopefully you get a new or used computer soon. I did not have any Internet computer in 12 years and I used many library computers. In our local library they have four Internet computers, but they are not open in weekends and holidays such as today on All Saints’ Day.

I’m back on-line. The computer I love is in the shop, fixable but waiting for a part to come in.
In the mean time, I’m borrowing from the family.
