The apartment building that i stay at is closing and i have to scramble to find another place. Ive been more stable here than anywhere in the last 5 years.
Im afraid im about to loose all the progress ive made and maybe even have to move into an unsafe environment. I also might not be able to find an apartment in time …they also wont tell us when the building is shutting down.
I feel a little stressed and im hoping things go smoothly and i can continue to maintain a barable life. I have soo many problems as it is ..this was the last thing i needed .
What do u guys do when things seem to be destabilizing? How to keep the ship afloat ?
Can your mental health center help. The place where I see a psychiatrist has all kinds of help. They do surveys. If you need food they give you food. If you need an apartment they have mental health apartments specifically for mentally ill people. That’s all I can think of. I’ve been in a similar situation where I ran out of money but I was able to go to my mom’s to get back on my feet. I feel bad for you. All you can do is Google things in your area and make calls. I’m stressed out for you.
Tha ks for the support man. The place i live at is through my local mental health center. They had some financial disagreement and the center isnt renewing the lease.
I have a plan and i dont think i will end up homeless…i could always rent a cheap motel monthly. I guess im just stressed about everything being upended and possibly loosing a relatively peacful environment.
Either way its gotta happen so im gonna do my best !
maybe the mental clinic can help you find an apartment…apply for section 8 housing just to get on the list…and then that would really be a stable place to live.
Thats what im waiting for. My name got pulled for public housing but i have to do the intake and be approved. The sad part is i could make a definite plan if the center told me how much time i had but for some reason they wont…
If i do get housing im hoping i can get in at a safer place in town. I use to hang with people from the streets and i know what goes along with certain neighborhoods. I have like 5500 worth of gear i dont want stolen and i dont want any drama with the thugs …
