Strangely enough

I’m into sparkling water these days. I dropped the Coke Zero, and seem to can’t get enough of sparkling water.

It’s kinda odd, but that’s who I am these days!

It’s more or less the same according to ChatGTP:

Yes, soda water and sparkling water are both types of carbonated water, but there’s a subtle difference:

  • Sparkling water usually refers to water that’s naturally carbonated from a mineral spring, often containing trace minerals (like magnesium or calcium), giving it a unique taste. Some sparkling water brands also add carbonation artificially for extra bubbles.

  • Soda water is typically just water with added carbon dioxide (CO₂) to create the bubbles, often with added minerals like sodium bicarbonate or potassium sulfate for taste.

So, while they’re both fizzy waters, sparkling water tends to be more natural, and soda water can have a slightly saltier or more “neutral” taste.

I buy walmart’s store brand seltzer water sometimes. They have assorted flavors and feels like I am drinking soda but without all the sugar

I actually prefer sparkling water without a flavor. My favorite brands are San Peligrino, and Perrier.

I think sparkling water is a better option than zero sugar soda with artificial sweetener. There are more and more research studies/articles raising concerns about artificial sweeteners.
