Stop smoking aids are safe?

Hey guys … Have any of you tried chantix to stop smoking? The pharmacist said it could effect my sza ? Does anyone have any experience?

Yeah I hear that Chantix can cause mood changes, I don’t know, maybe Zyban or even better nicotine gum or lozanges would be better?

@rogueone used a version of it I think. I believe its called something slightly diferent over there. Same stuff though , I think. let me see if I can find one his comments about it.

Tabbacco is addictive

I used to be like that. Couldn’t get off no matter what. Patches and gum wouldn’t last and I’d smoke half a packet after I sucked them dry. Honestly. Nicotine is an insidious drug. It just feeds your addiction and there’s no real benefits. Yeah it keeps me calm etc but a lot of that is just stopping the addiction. I smoked a pack a day for 25 years or so. I used champix/chantix and it was the easiest thing I ever did. Just two weeks in and stopped smoking. It doesn’t work for everyone but it’s worth the effort. Cigs are so expensive here now and it will just slowly poison you whilst your paying through your ass to maintain an addiction.

Took me 5 years of being on the nicotine gum to fully quit cigs.
