Pickled turkey gizzards are pretty good. Don’t recall ever trying those oysters. Sushi rocks. I like to roll my own. They don’t always look pretty but they sure do taste good.

I’ve had em, sliced and deep fried with a garlic sauce. Tender, not much flavor, nothing amazing to write home about. But I only tried them the once. The restaurant featured a lot of game meat from a partnership with a local butcher.

This could definitely explain one of my wife’s aunts. She shows up at every branding to “harvest” meat after the steers are castrated. Her voice is deeper than Optimus Prime’s in the Transfomer movies.
