Sticking with therapy

What are your tips for staying in therapy?

I dropped out last time but I am giving it a go again in the hope I can get my life back on track.


Having a goal, purpose with it.


Be as honest, open and as vulnerable as you can be. This will move you forward in therapy keeping you interested. There’s no sense being there if you’re just going to say everything is fine.

Prepare things to talk about in advance, in the form of written bullet point notes, this helped me


It’s hard for me too

Cuz my therapist sits in front of the computer screen the whole time

Not like I’m going to lay down on a couch and saying all and a psychotherapist is going to be in a chair giving me advice. Ha!
