When news broke last month that Episode VIII would be called Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the response was… predictable. That’s right, hundreds of online arguments spawned by that ambiguous title. After all, “Jedi” can be both singular and plural. Did this mean Luke Skywalker was “the last Jedi” all on his own?
Now we wonder no more.

I know its kinda off topic… If your a “good” force user your a Jedi or a Jedi’s padawan or a Jedi master… If your an “evil” force user… Your what?.. I know theres sith lords but that only covers a tiny albeit powerful number of dark side users… Is it sith for them all?
Plus then theirs creatures that can manipulate the force yet wouldn’t be Jedi or sith…or are they depending on which side of the force they can harness…
The classifications are a little confusing… Are their neutral force users who harness both dark and light but choose not to get involved in the wars and politics? And what are they called…
Or even specifically dark or light users who never found a teacher…do they still fall into Jedi and sith despite having never been trained…
Oh this is a mess…
do the titles Jedi and sith require that your trained in the respective orders or is it simply which side of the force you embrace and harness? Maybe that’s what I want to know…

Yes. Darth vader was trained in both.
There can only be 2 sith at a given time as they turn on each other and wipe each other out. Apparently.
