You talk like an ausie. I eat bs fast food sandwiches from everywhere, but only twice a day. I also worry about scurvy ironically. But I eat fruits and veggies every so often. It’s impossible to lose weight on antipsychotics. Gained 20 lb I’ll prolly never lose. Alas I don’t care. I’m still pretty thin just rounded. If I grow tits because of these god damned meds then I’ll have to get fat. Something I worry about. Don’t know how new you are but welcome to the forums.

Thanks man, yeah meds big weight gainers I was always skinny as a kid and teenager since I went on antipsychotics full time I’ve gained a ■■■■ load I’m now considerded obese bout 220lbs 6’3. A lot of rednecks in my hometown been in a few pub brawls with em lol nah all good. Peace

I really like your user name, OP. Brought a big smile to my face.

Heck, with your staple diet, I am sure you are set!

Here goes my staple diet, starting with how I nip anxiety.

Tryptophan, an amino acid, is all I use. I use sesame seeds, a lot of them.

For depression and inflammation, I use an ethically produced natural formula called Curamin, from Terry Naturally. That’s how they do it in India, see.

I cook up a storm, using greens and grains. I like the North End Boston Italian recipes. I supplement with Garden of Life, which offers all Live Whole Foods and I consume bee pollen granules. I receive all omega 3,6,7 and 9 from sea buchthorn. I often check what I take to make sure it is bioavailable. For that 4000 mg of potassium we need each day: sweet potatoes, bananas and naked green juice or organic OJ, well all organic.

I used to run 6 miles a day and ride my bike to work and out to shop. I messed up my acid/base system b/c I was not taking in what I was burning off. So I have been in major repair mode since.

At that height is that really considered obese?

I’m slightly smaller 6 2 at 210 it probably fits but if I’ve got a gut he prolly does too.

I don’t consider myself obese

I agree. One site states the ideal weight for a male that is 6’3 is between 176-216.

I lost 70 lbs while on Resperidone,Cogentin, and Welbutrin.

It depends on the person and the particular med - I was able to lose weight on Abilify even with being on Depakote, a big weight gaining med.
I agree with you about Risperdal, for me it is a huge weight gaining drug - I dont bother dieting while being on it anymore - I can only lose about 5 lbs while on it - no more, and I tried.
Dont be discouraged Bryan - you seem to be battling back at the illness

Don’t rub it in!

That was 10 year ago before meds Bahahaha lol Now I feel like 400lbs

I never pay over two dollars for a meal I fix myself. Most of the time it is closer to one dollar. That’s how it is in eastern Oklahoma.
