does your country celebrate this?
no …but me and my husband do as we got married on st patricks day 10 years ago and we dont drink we are going for a meal out on that day
Oh my gosh yes. Maybe even more than you do in Ireland.
do mind sharing which country you live in?
are you in America @Rhubot
Yep
We do have an Irish Pub in the capital, which gets pretty lively on this occasion
I live in Romania.
it’s said on our news there turning the chicago river green, I love America
I live in Ireland, its great fun here on this day
All I ever did for St. Patrick’s Day was drink Guinness that day; now that I don’t drink I won’t be doing anything special. Well, I’ll wear green to avoid getting pinched lol. I live in the US.
I was in Chicago a few years back for the parade, and I got to see the green river! It was pretty neat. This year, I’m meeting up with my Irish friend and we are spending the whole weekend going to parties.
I see there is a big snow storm in NYC
don’t know what it’s about.
writing poem 'bout it.
but as 47average would say, I don’t “celebate” it
we have a special relationship with America throughout history
Yeah, I think the snow is supposed hit everywhere from the mid-Atlantic area (such as Washington DC, Baltimore, Philly) all the way up into New England and all points in-between, such as NYC. I live in the Midwest, though, so no worries here.
They do it every year!
that made me smile
lol that green pool reminds me of Nickelodian. they always had some green slime fad going on.
Lololol it’s the Chicago River! I had forgotten about You Can’t Do That On Television.
Where is bro patrick …roger roger… @Patrick …haha…
