In the US they do.
Of course. I have Irish heritage and respect the holiday, but a lot of it is just BS marketing.

I’m in the U.S. We have lots of Irish people in my city.
A little, I have just enough Irish heritage to celebrate a little lol. All my ancestors were kicked out of Ireland lol. I wonder if we’re permanently banned haha

I think about The Irish(and the Italians for that matter) in such that they beat stigma in this country.
I’m Ukrainian mostly…. And I’ll try to be more uplifting later and in the future but I think it’s a tougher road in America.
Granted they are in the news now and are fighting gallantly. Am I being sour grapes? My father disagrees with me you should know….

We celebrate it here in Canada. Me especially since I’m at least a quarter Irish.
