I applied in July for a hearing . Since oct 18 it’s said I have hearing scheduled for January 25 2022. I never received anything in mail so call today and it’s still in work up.
They said it’s still soon so didn’t want ask million questions. What does work up mean ? Could it be glitch or my hearing canceled? I requested my files be looked at without hearing could a decision be being made?

So are you saying you cancelled the hearing? Do you have a disability attorney? If not you should get one. You don’t have to pay them unless you win. If you do with, they get a percentage of your backpay so it’s not a big deal
Disability attorneys get 25% of your backpay not to exceed $6000.
