Sports on TV

I don’t watch much tv but i have been enjoying a little sport lately, Rally is amazing and i like the cycling (downhill mountain bike) and sometimes even a bit of water slalom or boat racing.

I have been very lucky i got a free subscription for Discovery+ and its worth £40 a month i think, it was part of my wifi/mobile phone account i set up. (which i get a discount for as well). but the sports are pretty good, i watch the repeats in my own time.

Dyou guys watch any sports on tv?

I’m not a fan of sports and, worse, it would mean watching commercials as well.

Bleargh!

lol, watching sports like cycling makes me want to cycle more so it has a good affect on me that way.

No. I’d personally be willing to end all sports overnight if it would stop Sports Book and Draft King ads from airing.

Makes me snoozy. I’d rather spend the time I would use watching sports actually doing the sports. There is no substitute for an afternoon on the lake.

Generally, no. Dont really watch TV to be honest. I might try stream a big fight night. My son goes and watches football with his Grandad.

Im currently in Spain and have Sky TV here. So watching quite a bit of TV. Late at night mostly. Right now in fact. But mostly the channel Challenge - where Im catching old game shows I used to enjoy in a younger life. Wouldn’t watch anything like this at home these days. Years would elapse.

Is Pluto TV available in Spain? Free viewing.

I’ll watch very little sports for interesting highlights but can’t bring myself to watch an entire competition. I may watch a couple whole fights of mma or boxing a year.

Maybe on regular terrestrial TV. This is basically a hack that was discovered about 25 years ago. Exclusive for Brits.

So in this part of Spain; if you have a 2 meter radius dish, at the right position, and you wire up a British Sky Digital viewing box and calibrate its frequency, you can pick up British broadcasting AND a whole range of basic channels. Nothing major but tons of stuff. Free. Nothing the BBC can do about it.

I dont get ads, repeats are ad free on discovery+ ,

The olympics were ok but i love the other stuff, there are lots of better stuff like the mountain biking wasnt as good at the olympics as ive seen in other competitions.

I only get 7 antenna channels since i had to stop my internet, but i enjoy watching college football. Mostly i watch PBS. I like the nature and science shows.

I like to watch the football ( soccer ) highlights, the six nations and snooker world champions / masters. I used to go to the pub to watch Premier league matches.

I love snooker (well i prefer shooting pool) but watching snooker is very relaxing, i have a short attention span but its good as background for chilling with some good music on as well, I would totally play snooker/pool more irl if i could.

I also watched darts and i had a dart board when i was young, i love watching the darts & i’d love to find a place to play darts, i played my nephew recently and won, lol.

I love nature tv as well and science is ok, nature is probably my best if i wanted to watch, i love animals and trees, everything to do with nature in our environment.
