Hi @An_the-c-ology, I don’t see it in the blocked words filter, so I suspect that Discourse is somehow seeing it as someone trying to get around the filter for the eff word and blocking it out. I will try to find out more.

Yeah, I noticed earlier today that the word ■■■■■ is also being blocked. It seems like maybe a problem with the way the software is applying the filter. I assume maybe the software thinks ■■■■■ is ■■■■?

That’s funny. Pretty soon, with all the random words being blocked, it’ll look like we are all swearing at each other.

If you type “sh” then any number of random letters and end with “t”, the forum seems to think that word is s-h-i-t and blocks it.

I noticed in a recent thread by @jukebox that one of his words was crossed out when it doesn’t seem the place for a curse word

This could lead to some spicy looking posts because of all the blocked words.

I just removed a couple of words (s-h-* -t and f-* -c-k) from the censored list that had the wildcard character * which may have caused the issue.
