I’m 71 years old and there would be something wrong with me if I didn’t think of dying now and then. When I was younger, being tired got the same thought. Accepting the idea is good, I don’t have to act on it.

There is nothing wrong with this, although we like to live as long as possible, we die some day, I suppose it is right to do things to enable us to live long. Many people whom I have known have died to many causes, cancer, suicide, or other problems. But I still want to live as long as possible.

I agree. People don’t like to think about things like death, and yet we’ll all face it someday, so why the avoidance? It’s a reality for everyone. Acceptance and acknowledgment of things, I think, makes them less powerful, less scary. I do wish you well, though, @PinCushion

I went to one of my neighbour’s 90th birthday party. That was a year ago. The person who is 90 is still active and goes to bingo on her own etc. You’ll be like that chordy.
