Im not on any platform -
but my spouse is - and i know what is happening that I don’t care about from what i hear second hand conversations he has with his friends.

TikTok can be a real mood lifter for me. I get mostly cat and music related videos. I like some of the DJs on TikTok Live too.

I can’t spend too much time on it though or my attention span starts to shorten in other areas. It affects the dopamine reward system.

The thing is this content is dumbing things down to 15 second clips. Its some kind of brain washing content created by kids in Hype Houses, or like the sexualized kids @gecko describes. And teens are addicted to this content.

Its creating a strange generation, that no one knows the psychological impacts of except people who have the data on users.

Sorry for TikTok hating - just a dumb guys opinion on the platform.
