Sometimes i think the general populations iq is going down

Atleast the tiktok and instagram population.
Its like theres all these videos of people just copying the same dance or movement over and over and over all using the same friggen soundsclips.

It is. Marketing, social media. All manipulativee. Now that power is in anyone’s hand. Kids have the power to manipulate the public even. Countries can. Etc.

Democratization of content, ideas and information is both good and bad.

Sadly look at the bad that society has become.

Tik Tok relies heavily on sexualization. That’s mainly what gets views. Attractive women/ attractive men. The content that comes along with it doesn’t have to use any brain cells to comprehend. Also kinda creepy is the fact a lot of the girls on the app are underage. (actually completely creepy).

This is how influential social media is.

Also the Halo effect. You may not use TikTok, but people around you will affect you.

I honestly try my best to avoid being influenced from social media.

Its kind of hard to not get some element without avoiding the tools and the people

Is tiktok banned in china? They say 100 million users in the US.

Nvm just read this in google:

Although video-sharing app TikTok was developed by Chinese company Bytedance, it is not available in China . Instead users can download a twin app, Douyin, which was also developed by Bytedance.
