So I have two places that are offering me a room viewing

Room one

Further away from job

But really nice room

Room two

Easy to get to job

But room is smaller
And window view is not great at all

Which would you choose and why?

Bear in mind I commute to work 5 to 6 days per week when I start

Are they the same price? :bear::bear::bear:

I would probably pick room 2 because I personally would be more concerned about convenience. But maybe you should go ahead an visit both and decide for yourself after?

The one further away is 20 pounds per month cheaper.

Yes I will give an update on Monday as to what the rooms are like

I’d personally go with the one closest to your job.

Depends on the neighborhood and what else they’re close to. If room #1 is closer to stores, laundromats and other conveniences that would sway my opinion. I’ve lived in places where I had to make long commutes: and I survived. I like a good window view.

I’d go with the nicer, cheaper one definitely. To get a lesser room closer to work is giving your job way too much importance in your life.

Yea I was actually leaning towards that too.

But not so sure right now.

I might be able to make the smaller room really cosy. Idk.

I’ll confirm once I see the rooms in real life along with the kitchen and atmosphere

IDK. I like my space. When I moved into my two bedroom apartment I got the smaller room. It wasn’t tiny but it was a bit small for me. When the housemate moved out I moved into the bigger room and three years later I still sit on my bed and look around and appreciate the space and how big it is.

What’s your story @LittleMissSlothy ?

I’m moving out cos landlord is kicking the family out of the house that we’ve been renting.

Got limited time to find a place to live

It’s proving to take longer than I hoped to find a suitable room.

Okay yea whatever suits you best.

But I do think it would suit you.

However it’s very demanding job I guess

For me it comes down to being a good nurse etchically and proffesionally so i cant risk working because of a possible episode.

I could hurt people.

What do you do for work @LittleMissSlothy

I was considering nursing once and I was fearing that I’d hallucinate the measuring numbers for when using iv drips and such, and not be aware and thus kill people that way.

But no nursing is generally not for me anyways.
