I am so frustrated right now with my breathing issues. I have been struggling to breathe for over 4 weeks now can’t lie down to sleep haven’t gotten much sleep since this has been going on and feel like I am breathing from my neck up and not from my chest or lungs. I have been to the er but apparently you have to be dying to go there according to the er doctor I seen I felt I was wasting his time by being there so won’t be going back there ever again been to the minute clinic at the local Kroger’s store in the beginning they just sent me home and told me to get some Mucinex pills and use saline which I had been doing and I had been to my family doctor he prescribed prednisone which I am allergic too it made me worse with my breathing and didn’t open my airways up like he thought it would and been to my sleep Doctor whom ordered a another sleep study for me to go to but won’t get in till March. Unless they have someone cancel an appointment then they’ll see me sooner still can’t use my current CPAP machine I feel I have gotten a lot worse with my Sleep Apnea and now they’re saying I have central Sleep Apnea along with Osa. Have to yawn like every 3 to 5 minutes to get any kind of air in I don’t want to live like this if I don’t have too so far no one has found anything wrong with me so they send me home struggling to breathe still I am about to give up if this is how my life is going to be from now on I don’t want to go on I feel Doctors are brushing me off when they find nothing to treat I have everyone puzzled just as much as I am my o2 sat is in the upper 90s my blood sugar was 101 when they checked it last my heart and lungs sounded good.
Abilify metformin lexapro triamterine two inhalers as of recentlt metropolol thats about it same drugs I have been taken for a long time except the inhalers albuderol and pulmacort are new only use them sparingly
You can get respiratory problems from germs or mold or bacteria from not cleaning your CPAP machine. Have you been following the cleaning schedule for your equipment? I.e. cleaning the cushion and mask every day, rinsing the humidifier tub every day etc. You can get a few illnesses from a dirty CPAP machine. Or maybe the air flow pressure was too strong? Or the humidity was set wrong? Maybe those caused your breathing problems. If some things were not right with your machine or equipment it can cause breathlessness. It may be the root of your breathing problems. I don’t know for sure though.
I clean my cpap often so I dont think that is what is causing my breathing problems I dont use the humidifier have in the past and it makes my breathing worse instead of better we dont have mold or bacteria in our house that I know of so I am still puzzled about whats causing my breathing issues and Im not allergic to anything I know of except freshly mowed grass pollen dust maybe pet hair but getting rid of my pets will never be an option for me I would rather take an allergy pill for the rest of my life or get allergy shots than do that my pets are my life and my family I have had my air pressurr inxreased on my cpap machine it helped for awhile until now and Then I was able to wear it all night until now once I get this figured out and treated I will update evertone here on if Im better or not may think on getting a allergy test just to see if in fact Im allergic to something and if it turns out I am I then could get it treated
