I don’t know why but been like this for the last three days.
I get this so often, if I’m honest I don’t understand why. Several things can “trigger” frustration, it could be a subconscious reaction to something going on in your life.
I’ve especially felt random spirts of frustration the past few months.
I hope you start to feel better soon!
You need something to do…
Definitely @EDM_Stan getting something like a hobby or learning something could bring down the boredom and frustration
Thank u @Joshua1 @77nick77 for your suggestions.
Yeah I am literally without any work or hobby the whole day. Trying to watch a movie on tv now.
If your lacking hobbies it means you have a clean slate.
Something I do when I’m without things to do (I need to keep myself doing something) is write down or think about what I enjoy most (ie what movies what culture things I enjoy like sports, history etc) and then try to apply that to a hobby.
So I enjoy history and a hobby I have is researching and visiting historical places of interest
Finding what’s right for you can be difficult but once you find a couple hobbies I think you’ll see a bit of improvement along with any other mental health help you’re receiving (if any)
What do you mean by clean slate?
Also I think due to the lack of football matches this week because of international break is what is causing boredom in me.
I love watching football.
I mean you’re able to completely build up a new hobby of your choice.
If your hobby is sports, specifically football, researching football could be a start. You could make a personal project to find out certain things about different teams and maybe the history of that team.
If you enjoy playing you could practice on your own or in a small group (if covid restrictions allow it)
That’s a good idea. Thank you.
I have a football tactics book and will read it and watch some football tactics on youtube.
That’s great!! I hope it keeps your spirits up.
Have you ever considered taking some kind of online class/course?
I really like the Beatles and the first class I took when I went back to college was a class on the Beatles.
It wasn’t easy but it was fun. I also took classes on mythology and children’s literature. Interesting classes were the classes on film history. .
Maybe you could find some kind of fun class.
I was taking a software course called selenium but quit mid way due to lack of interest.
The Beatles had more hits than selenium I bet. Are you interested in music, film or art? Taking something “lightweight” like some kind of fun, pop culture course might be funnet and easier than a software class.
If you are bored, do some house work.
How about learning a foreign language?
I had this idea yesterday, to do some writing and put it together in a newsletter, and mail it to a few key people in my life.
