So anything good to report?

Does anybody have anything good going on, no matter how trivial? :trophy:

Yeah! I’m done with two finals now and only have 1 more to go! And the final I take tomorrow technically doesn’t matter all because our prof drops the lowest exam grade, so it can only help me. I also found out I got an A on my oral exam (measures how well you can speak it) and composition for Japanese. Given my A test average and A quiz average for that class, I’m fairly confident I’ll get an A final grade!

Geez Anna, way to go! That’s astounding.

I finally motivated myself to call the two colleges I got kicked out of to ask for copies of my disciplinary records so I can use them as part of my SSDI appeal.

Good luck with that, fingers crossed you’ll be successful.

The first college kicked me out because I attempted suicide and tried to kill a fellow student. The second college kicked me out because I was stalking a fellow student and attempted suicide. Does this help my case for Schizoaffective Disorder SSDI? lol

Well, thankfully that’s all in the past now. Sorry that you had it that rough.

Well to be clear I didn’t want to kill him, Azazel told me I had to do it or he would steal my soul.

Anyway, good stuff! Oh I also went to the grocery store AND met with my psychiatrist and got the official approval for Abilify 10mg. Hopefully next week I can go up to 15 or 20.

I’ve smoked only ten cigarettes so far today, and I’ve been up for 9 hours! That may seem trivial to most, but it’s a big deal to me! I’ve scheduled my next cig for 9 minutes from now (6pm my time). You did say no matter how trivial lol.

That’s great that you’re trying to cut down. I’m an ecig user myself. The next step is giving them up completely! Best of luck.

Uhhh did you get criminal charges for it? Because I know that can work against you in many cases. Not sure how it contributes to SSDI specifically but I’d be cautious mentioning that unless legal counsel gives you the ok.

I don’t have a lawyer all the lawyers I called said they’d only help if I went to a hearing, and I have to do the first appeal before that on my own. And no there were no charges. Being arrested doesn’t affect SSDI, some felony convictions do though.

I made my curry with quinoa today instead of white rice, and it doesn’t taste too much worse!

well, I’m alive! that’s good news! at least good enough for me!

trying new food is quite gutsy, especially for the budget.

one time, I decided to get a different type of burrito from the same restaurant. I felt it was my duty to try out all the different types of burritos it had. like a food adventure/philosophy.

the burrito was… not to my liking. :frowning:

I couldn’t eat it, and I couldn’t get my money back… :disappointed_relieved:

I’ve been trying to get more protein, so MyFitnessPal stops yelling at me.

@Ninjastar what is quinoa? Also, do you like yogurt? Greek yogurt is an excellent source of protein, typically 12 g per serving.

lol I remember when I had that app, it was always like “u are reaching NONE of your nutrient goals, except fats and saturated fats which you need to CALM DOWN on”

I’m probably dying of malnutrition as we speak :frowning:

It’s good to try new things, though. You never know, you might find something you like.

Quinoa is a grain. Looks like cous cous but I’ve never had it.
