I do this sometimes. I get notifications of order’s I’ve placed and only then do I remember doing it. I just found out I did it last night or the night before I guess. Have you ever done this? Kind of scary for the budget.
edit it pisses me off because I’m trying so hard to pay everything off and then I go and charge something in my sleep. It’s already shipped so it will already cost me money to send it back and it is something I need so…
I guess I shouldn’t sleep sitting at the computer anymore, I don’t try to I just can’t sleep in the bed in the middle of the night sometimes. I’ll do better.
Sleepwalking is usually harmless. However, people can get into trouble by wandering out of their home, falling, running into things. If disturbed during the incident, individuals can become agitated. There are behavioral methods in addition to medication. Place a motion detector alarm into the room.
I’ve had this problem with my alters a lot. I put a password on my phone to help prevent it.
Also it helps if you remove saved credit card numbers from Amazon or where ever you ordered from. And move your credit cards to an inconvenient place like into anther room or something so sleeping you doesn’t just take them.
This is definitely something I’d bring up with your doctor though I’ve heard of side effects like that before
I used to have a problem with drunk shopping. I’d get the spirit and just pull the trigger on some very dubious purchases. I am not made of money so feel your pain!
Nothing surprises me these days but it’s always worthwhile telling your doc. Sleeping meds can make you do really strange things for example!
no I don’t even know what stillnox is, I only take a blood pressure med to stop nightmares well and all my psych meds. But I’ve had this problem for years no matter what med I take. I didn’t realize it was that abnormal I guess. I’ll bring it up to my doctor for sure.
I’ve closed most of my accounts, but I still need a few open. The item I bought is something I’ve been needing and keep putting off so I’ve decided to keep it. But it still really bothers me that I didn’t choose. I feel robbed of the decision and it was more expensive than I would have chosen if in my right mind. But thank you for the idea of keeping the cards put up away from the computer, that may just stop me. That makes it a lot more complicated of a feat for me.
Maybe get your husband to change your Amazon (or whatever) password to something only he knows and log you in and out when you want to buy something. Problem solved !
