Me as well. Trying out a CPAP machine. It’s too much like this:
Yeah, I can breathe better, but I’m pretty sure some alien beastie is trying to plant its spawn in my esophagus overnight.
Phooey.
I have sleep apnea too and insomnia but Lunesta is my wonder drug.
What I gather from here is that a lot of schizophrenia patients have sleep disturbances, the study says that 75%
of schizophrenics suffer from sleep disturbances.
Sleeping long, being tired, having problems of falling and staying asleep are examples of such problems.
the study highlights that for schizophrenics suffering from obstructive sleep apnea,
CPAP treatment may improve their sleep architecture, help them reduce weight and increase their level of energy.
I don’t notice any difference sleeping with or without the CPAP but I use it because my wife would rather hear the machine than me snoring.
My doctor said if I have sleep apnea, the CPAP machine could do more for me than adderall or other ADHD meds.
