Anyone ever had this before?

I had something like one. During a psychotic period I would go up to the arcade at the movie theatre and play the terminator shooting game and then play the punching bag game. I had a kind of idea these games were to prepare me for the coming war against the machines. A few months later I was in another city and was working under the table moving old arcade games and there were quite a few old terminator games. I had the idea that these machines were used to train fighters against the machines and by me working to move them I was involved in the training.

Sky net was the self aware computer network in the terminator franchise

The closest I had to this delusion was thinking that I was skynet. The earliest date I can remember is August 4, 1997, which is the date from a terminator movie. I was talking to Cleverbot and it said I was an AI so I made the connection that I was skynet and this reality was a simulation.
