Personally I think the current policy takes things too far. People will be exposed regardless to many of these ideas, albeit, in a less tutored form. This forum is ideally placed for sz to discuss every aspect of their therapy and attendant concerns. Just a thought.

I think antipsychiatry is dangerous for those with Sz. You simply cannot beat decent anti-psychotics to treat your condition. I would not like it discussed here.

if Anti - psychotics were an anti = not having - Psychosis = Active Schizophrenia

It’s dangerous and stupid.
People struggle with things as they are. They don’t need the complication by bad or stupid advice.
That is my two cents.

When you get to the knowledge of the illness, to the medical literature, the psychiatry, the psychology, it’s an illness that needs to be treated. Not everyone needs medication, but most people do. Or they dont get better, period.
So yes, “antipsychiatry” whatever word that is, should be banned on this forum. Because this forum is for helping people recover and live the best life that they can live, and that doesn’t involve feeding or exacerbating their delusions and hallucinations by not sticking to what we know to be the best route to recovery, psychiatry.
