No I didn’t buy new mannequins. I bought some shampoo that was on sale; “buy two, get one free”. The only problem is that they’re HUGE. If the big size ones I bought last are any indication of how long these new ones will last, I will have these huge bottles taking up space for the next year.
Mr LED bought a package of 6 huge things of hand soap last year. I’m pretty sure each bottle will last 6 months. And they smell awful so I don’t even want to wash my hands as often as I probably should.
@LED, your story reminds me of when I saw a bunch of hand soap bottle on sale at Ralph’s for 19 cents each. I bought a ton, like more than ten. One is called Sparkling Merlot and one is Winter Garland. It was around the holidays, so i assume they are just seasonal stuff they couldn’t get rid of.
The Winter Garland is green and smells like pine needles. I’m not sure what the Sparkling Merlot smells like, it’s obviously not alcoholic or wine like, but it is strange. I think they do the trick but smell pretty awful.
What’s funny is the other day my girlfriend told me she loves the smell of both of them. Go figure.
We shop at bulk buying stores over here like Costco! I appreciate your concern…bloody bottles are huge! STill it’s cost effective and with 3 people on the pension you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do!
