I grew up in the 80’s. Awesome cheesy horror movies, Pizza Hut almost every Friday, weird commercials, weirder but awesome movies, crazy looking horror/suspense book covers at the grocery stores.

Oh, those were the days. :v:

Lip smacker gloss was big back then.i was getting my prescription and saw them I know what I want to get so I can feel how I felt when I was a teenager. Calm now.

Oh I loved those. My favorites were always watermelon, chocolate and vanilla.

I guess no one wants to hear about pet rocks, bell bottoms, disco and the day Elvis died.
But I’m not worried, “Every dog will have his day”.

I saw “Spice World” though. Does that make me hip?

$3.50 for a rock you could pick up at any park in the world. I hear it made the inventor a million bucks though. I was still called hippie until the mid-seventies because I had long hair.

$3.50 for a rock? I thought I’d heard everything when I saw decoration sticks going for $1.75. I thought… heck! I’ll just sell sticks if people are gonna buy them.

And don’t forget “big hair”.

HaHa!! Yes. A lot of the pop-rock and glam metal bands of that era had some rather “big” hairdos.
