Yeah self stigma is real even for psychosis I wish they would change the name of “antipsychotics” wtf why did they create that word and they expect people too take them I have zero choice tho

I notice that the TV commercials for Vraylar as an add-on treatment for major depression that’s not responding to just antidepressants…well, not once in those commercials do they call it an antipsychotic or neuroleptic. And nobody sees any commercials for haldol or clozapine. It’s “okay” to be depressed or bipolar, but it’s taboo to be psychotic.
