When I paint with acrylics I use a canvas or something a little heavier as the surface I am painting on, cardboard for example. Acrylics work well with paper also.
What I love about acrylics is the fact that you can fuse so many different things into the canvas you’re painting on! There are glueish mediums for acrylics, you can glue fabric, paper, cotton buds, rocks, pretty much whatever onto the canvas and paint over it!
Acrylics are easy to work with as they dry fast and you don’t need smelling mediums with them. You can thin the paint with water.
