i was on olanzepine very low dose 2.5 mg and everything was good
untill i went to new doctor she changed the olanzepine to higher dose of 5 mg aripiprazole
days after taking this
voices begin to dominate me
and there are sexual imaginations and orders to do acts…and feelings !!! at some time of my days
and odd sexual acts
the aripiprazole not working right ???
i should go to this doctor again right !!!
as fast as possible thats what i m thinking in seriously right ???
any insight is welcomed of course:))

Is the 5 mg your target dose of aripiprazole? or are you working your way up? That is a very low dose.

Anyway, different meds have different recommended dosages . I dont know what typical dosage for olanzapine for sz is , but just because your mg was lower on olanzapine than for aripiprazole, doesnt mean the dosages are comparable. The minimum suggested dose for aripiprazole for sz is 10mg, I think.
I’m not a doctor though, so maybe you should discuss with your doc if 5mg is going to be effective for you.

5mg of aripiprazole is not high though.

Well, I guess you should go by your doctors recommendations, but I am on aripiprazole, and that is a low dose.
