Seeing your symptoms in dangerous people

I got into a google rabbithole about violent crimes committed by people in psychosis and it freaked me out out relatable it was. Im definitely not the type to hurt anyone but the paranoid thoughts leading up to the terrible acts were the same ones that give me harmful urges.

Seemingly mundane things setting the person off looks “crazy” to a normal person, but from experience it is much more to the person. Slight things can be overblown into malicious harm and feel like a serious threat. Its not as senseless and “for no reason” as it looks.

I know most of us are not dangerous but its eery to see your own symptoms and thoughts in these people

When I’m triggered and think I’m in danger I lock myself away in my house rather than lash out. But yeah, I totally get what you’re saying about the thoughts preceding the actions

I can’t google stuff like that it’s definitely a trigger. I have violent urges and thoughts and I try to feed my mind calm and easy going stuff so as to not get triggered.
