There is a med for putting zoo animals to sleep, call carfentanil. I don’t think it can be used on a human without causing death. Would 5 mg of Haldol or 20 mg of Zyprexa do anything…I HIGHLY doubt it. Even Thorazine. You gotta remember how large they are, that’s why carfenanil exists. Something like an 1/8 of a teaspoon will kill everybody it comes into contact. So the answer to your question is no, not even close.

Dogs are commonly sedated with a benzo for long car rides that make them anxious.
