Today is my second day at my new job at the university. I’m being trained on doing payroll for the folks who work in the cafeterias. It seems complicated.
The university is quite large. About 30,000 students. The last 2 colleges I worked at were each about 2,500. They were small liberal arts colleges. It might take some adjustment.
Anyway, need to get back to it.

Congrats @Gamera !
Sounds like a good opportunity
The size of the college I bet you could move around a bit and try lots of things!
I work for a big organisation as well and they have a lot more stuff for staff
Hope it’s the same there

Each time you feel overwhelmed take deep breaths and do a grounding exercise to calm yourself and refocus.
There are many different grounding exercises. Just Google them and find the ones that are right for you.
It’ll help tremendously

Thanks @Joker . I was thinking the same thing. I’m definitely going to keep my eye on other opportunities at the university.

I did some grounding exercises after I read your comment. They helped with getting overwhelmed with learning all this new information. Thanks for the idea!

Huge congrats! I agree with the general consensus: learning curve followed by expertise. You can do this!
