Screwy police reports anyone?

Anyone here experienced police reports about you that are just plain wrong? I read one saying that they had to break down my front door, which wasn’t true at ALL. It had other things on it that weren’t true either. What the hell?

Oh sheesh…add fuel to the fire…

Aww man, I’m sorry you had to go through that!

Csummersx, that’s quite the story. Crap. I’m sorry about that one…

The cops in some communities have a mental health consumer coordinator cop who is really the discrimination coordinator…Honey, if these cops notice you in some communities you will never get anything ‘RIGHT’ out of the cops until you leave…These will get you locked up for long psych evaluation at your own expense if you are deemed a nuisance…Unless you have pictures of the trespassing at your home, don’t bother reporting it unless the place is trashed and you need to file the renters insurance. (Most of the time, this trespasser is well known to police…the cops are kinda borderline sickos sometimes anyway and enjoy watching someone fall from a functioning worker into homelessness…) In smaller town, can at least tell the cops the horrible story about someone & ask cop to run off the problems if they ever find them looking around.

@Csummersx I am so sorry you had to go through that. Stupid system… the doc doesn’t get the story straight and then gets the cops involved who doesn’t have the correct story and it all gets dangerous and stupid all because of some Pdoc that just won’t listen.

I’m almost glad the cops saw me as a chronic drunk and druggie. I’ve heard them say… “Oh him… pickled to the core… he’s annoying but harmless.”

aye yay yah 4 more for the post

One time I was crossing a highway with the light and two cops were on the median. I thought I hadn’t broken any laws, so I should be able to walk right past them. As I walked past one of them said, “Hey, George.” I turned and yelled, “Tom! My name is Tom!” One of them sprayed me with pepper spray. Then they handcuffed me, slammed me face first on the ground, put their knees on the back of my head, and ground my face into the dirt. It was very painful.

I wonder if NAMI or someone is trying to educate the police on how to deal with the mentally ill.

One time the police just barely tried to get me to go to the hospital, and I was just barely resistant, and the next thing I know the officer was hurting my arm SOOOOOO badly. It was just sooooo unnecessary. I couldn’t believe it.

But man, compared to your stories I should feel pretty lucky.
