I already beat the odds, though many people who smile to my face are actually wishing me ill. So I will live another 20 years just to spite them.

I think you’ve been well for years but be careful. I’m very well lately but suddenly had a laughing attack the other day and still sometimes suffer from anger to mental health professionals.
If they really wishes you ill, well try to ignore them. They’re not worth your attention.
