I never found CBT helpful for schizophrenia or sleep, but apparently some people do.
I did find it extremely helpful with anxiety and panic attacks, and to a certain degree with depression.
CBT will give you great insight into your thought processes and how to change them for the better.
what kind of anxiety do you have?
I don’t have anxiety anymore, about the only time I experience it is when I drink to much coffee too quickly. When that happens I take 100mg l-theanine because it inhibits the excitatory effects of caffeine and I usually start to feel better fairly quickly.
I use to have extreme anxiety and almost constant panic attacks, I dreaded going to work, school, parties, etc…, I became agoraphobic for a few years. But that was like 20 years ago. Back then I did a CBT program called “Attacking Anxiety and Depression” and it virtually eliminated my panic attacks and anxiety. The company that made that program no longer exists but it lives on as an app at https://stresscenter.com (Read about it here: Full Life-Management Approach – Stresscenter)
That’s what the puter is for.
I only make lists long-hand.
