Well it’s my hope too. But I am weening off meds again so there’s nothing to knock me out for a few hours so I am going to stay awake and hopefully fall asleep tonight at about 9 or 10.

I was on a cocktail of Depakote and Lybalvi. When I started taking it I was at 248 today I am at 278. I have literally gained a pound a day and he said “we gotta get you off these meds”

Yikes. Yeah, that’s pretty severe weight gain. I’m still working on slowly losing weight as well. Cutting out snacks and limiting portions…

I am to have a video appointment today and another next Wednesday. He said he’s going to introduce one new med at a time. I am sure losing the 30 pounds is not going to be easy.

no, I havent painted one in months. Guitar is my only real hobby atm.

Guitar is hard, I took lessons as a kid, when the guitar was almost the size of me. I actually did have a couple of fingers that bled and formed callouses. But once you learn it’s like typing you always remember.

Yeah it isnt easy. It probably will be a few months before I am on all 6 strings for melody comfortably. I have only been playing stuff on 3 strings(except for chords) until today. I will be sure to tag you when I post some audio with new distortion pedal, that I should get tomorrow.

The thing that bothered me the most was bar chords. I wasn’t allowed to use a fret until I played for a year.

That seems odd. I started using them right away. Chords are my weakest point. I don’t like practicing them much. I prefer playing the melody.

My teacher was a classical director of the local orchestra in town. He told me that they were a crutch to learning correct form, plus at the age of 8 or 9 I cannot remember which he was probably right, I would have never learned.

I just ordered four tshirts from Walmart. They had some Dickies on sale for $7.00, a price I couldn’t resist. Some of my current tshirts have holes in them, and I needed some new ones.
