I have a very distant ancestral blood of the Lakota from the Rosebud Reservation in the Dakotas. My great grandfather was half Native. Don’t know anymore of that story. I’ve probably got as many stories out of my grandma as I’m going to get.

My mom’s family is white. No brown anywhere in that family. My paternal grandfather’s hair was black as coal.

Here’s something from Wikipedia you may be interested in as far as Native American languages are concerned:
Agglutination is used very heavily in most Native American languages, such as the Inuit languages, Nahuatl, Mapudungun, Quechua, Tz’utujil, Kaqchikel, Cha’palaachiand K’iche, where one word can contain enough morphemes to convey the meaning of what would be a complex sentence in other languages.
It’s an odd curiosity but I bet I could actually try to use the language when I see many Natives at a Wal-Mart north of me. The town, with the Wal-Mart, butts up against a decently sized reservation there. I’ve visited the tribal school when I was in school. They actively teach their Native language to their kids.

Yes… cha means tea in Japanese.
Its a word for tea in general.
For example “ryoku” means green, hence green tea is Ryoku Cha
Maccha is actually the powdered variety of green tea.

Good morning folks!
I slept on and off from 7:30pm last night until 5 this morning.
Nothing on my plate today, going to be working the blanket today.
Daughter is supposed to call today (Not holding my breath for that one)
Moved furniture, programmed a Roku tv, and set up a new iPad for my aunt.
She said she was taking me out for a steak dinner on Tuesday as a thank you!

up for another day, friday and saturday done with, now just sunday and monday to get through.
my cousin came back but i don’t know if she brought her dog with her, ihope she left it at home.
gonna be a long boring day no doubt, im already starting to get hungry but no food in the house, i will be a scavenger this weekend since i don’'t feel like going to the grocery, especially on labor day weekend.

dang it dad woke me up at 8am, i wish i could’ve slept until noon, but i’ve had 2 cups of coffee already so doubtful i’ll be able to fall back asleep. should be a long day today, i’ll try not to drink, but i don’t have any money for alcohol anyhow.

Good morning, y’all, coming up on 10 am here, been up for less than an hour. I slept in; it’s my day off.
I’m considering maybe trying something new tonight, a new recipe, buffalo chicken mac and cheese. From the looks of the recipe, it should be pretty good, just not sure I want to go to that trouble.

o my nephew won his football game friday 63-12. they played the school from the movie ‘hoosiers’. they suck, we beat them at football, and they are smaller school than us.
that’s a pretty big whooping considering they changed the rule where if you have a 28 point lead the clock runs in the 2nd half except for timeouts.
