S/za: what helps my depression aggravates my cognition and vice versa

I have sza, depressed type. I always thought it was a weird diagnosis because I didn’t feel depressed. Lately, I have come to notice that the things that help keep the depression in check (reading, writing, studying) etc, really aggravate my cognition and memory problems. The things that really help keep my cognition in order (doing quiet, non-taxing activities like chores) make me really depressed.

In short, it’s really hard to get my thoughts in order, and frequently when I do, I end up feeling mopey and depressed. Hoping to get out of this cycle.
